3 to Tango trio performed at a wedding last night.  The ceremony was held beside the river at Teneriffe, which was a beautiful setting.  A highlight of the ceremony was the couple's dog arriving as part of the bridal party, wearing a tutu!  We had fun performing at the reception, with a very appreciative audience.  After playing "Route 66" for the bridal dance, the evening continued with some lively dancing - "Mercy" by Duffy, and "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse had plenty of people up on the dance floor!

3 to Tango trio performed at a corporate function last night at Victoria Park Golf Club.  It was a great night, and we particularly enjoyed seeing the dancing.  There were some very good dancers on the floor.

3 to Tango trio had a very enjoyable evening performing at a 50th birthday party.  We played on a verandah with great views of the sunset, a pleasant summer breeze, and performing some of our favourite songs.  What a great way to spend the evening!

3 to Tango trio had a lot of fun performing at a lunchtime party today.  It was a farewell party, and 50th birthday combined.  The setting provided for a nice relaxed and intimate backyard gig, and it was really enjoyable to be part of the special occasion.

Catherine performed solo guitar at a wedding at Sirromet this afternoon.  It was a beautiful ceremony beside the lake, and the bride looked lovely.

3 to Tango clarinet and guitar duo enjoyed performing at a lovely wedding at Nerang today.  The couple chose Canon in D and the Trumpet Voluntary for the ceremony, and then we picked up the tempo at pre-dinner drinks, with some jazz and pop tunes.  A very enjoyable afternoon!

3 to Tango clarinet and guitar duo had a lovely day at the Ancient Arts Festival at Garden Hill in Darlington, Lost World.  It was a lovely scenic drive out there, and we met some really nice people at the festival.  The arts and crafts were very well done, and the pizzas were delicious!

3 to Tango enjoyed performing last night at the Spring Into Life Gala Dinner at Brett's Wharf restaurant.  The event raised money for the Cure for Life Foundation, to help find a cure for brain cancer.  The entertainment started with the clarinet and guitar duo, playing some background music during pre-dinner drinks, and then dinner music.  Then, Kelly joined us and the trio performed during dinner.  It was a great evening, for a very good cause.

It has been a busy month or so for 3 to Tango.  Some highlights of the month include a fundraiser at krop hair salon, which raised money for "beyondblue", a couple of trio performances at weddings, and a clarinet and guitar performance for a wedding at Hillstone St Lucia (pics below).  We are currently preparing a few new songs for a special fundraising event for the Cure for Life foundation.  The event will include a presentation by renowned surgeon, Dr Charlie Teo.  For more information, see the event's website:http://www.springintolifegaladinner.com/

3 to Tango trio performed at a ceremony and reception this evening, for a lovely couple.  The bride walked down the aisle to the DJ Sammy version of "Heaven" by Bryan Adams.  The ceremony was a lot of fun, and we particularly enjoyed the dancing as we finished our part of the evening with "Route 66"!

The voice and piano duo performed for a function at a restaurant in Toowong last night.  It was a very lively crowd, and we particularly enjoyed their singing!  The trio will be performing as part of the Fete de la Musique festival on the 21st June.  Stay tuned for more details!

3 to Tango voice and piano duo enjoyed a performance at a corporate function at the Sunshine Coast last Thursday night, and the clarinet and guitar duo performed at a lovely wedding ceremony yesterday at Samford.  It was a lovely day for a wedding - the weather was perfect, and the acreage setting at sunset was beautiful.

3 to Tango trio performed at a beautiful wedding today in a church at New Farm.  The bride and groom looked stunning.  The bride walked down the aisle to "You Are So Beautiful", and the ceremony finished with "All You Need is Love".

3 to Tango trio had a very enjoyable performance for a 60th birthday today in Mudgeeraba, in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland.  The family who booked us for the party were absolutely lovely.

3 to Tango voice and piano duo performed at a beautiful Thai-influenced wedding ceremony and reception at Victoria Park on Sunday 20th Feb.  The bride and groom sent us a lovely comment: "Chonthicha and I just wanted to express our sincere thanks to you both for providing such beautiful music at our wedding last Sunday.  All of our family and friends are still commenting on how well they thought the music complemented our ceremony and reception.  Our guests have commented on the excellent choice of music and we really appreciated the songs performed during our ceremony..."

3 to Tango clarinet and guitar duo performed at a beautiful wedding today, at Sirromet winery.  The ceremony was next to the lake at the Laguna area, followed by pre-dinner drinks at the Cellar Door, and a lovely reception in the Barrell Hall.  The acoustics in the Barrell Hall were just perfect for instrumental music, so it was a great sound to accompany the atmosphere of the candle-lit room.
The voice and piano duo performed at Berkley's lounge bar on Wednesday and Thursday this week, and Catherine performed solo guitar at a lovely wedding last Saturday at Karalee. Despite the rain, it was a gorgeous setting, and a lovely afternoon.

3 to Tango voice and piano duo performed at Berkley's lounge bar a couple of times this month, and also played next to the river at Kangaroo Point, Riverlife Function Centre, for a corporate function on Friday night 10 Sept.  The trio performed at a very special wedding on Sunday 12 Sept, also at Kangaroo Point.  The voice and piano duo is performing at Berkley's lounge bar again next Wednesday 29 September.

3 to Tango clarinet and guitar duo performed at a wedding at New Farm this weekend.  It was a lovely setting, next to the river.  In between recent performances at Berkley's on Ann, 3 to Tango had a couple of weeks off in early August, with Kelly down south, Allison in Sri Lanka, and Catherine busy with her school ensembles in the QCMF Competition.  Congratulations to Catherine and her ensembles for a gold and a silver in the competition!  Our next public performance is the voice and piano duo, performing at Berkley's Lounge Bar, this Thursday. 3 to Tango has had a busy few weeks.  The trio performed at a boxing fight night at the end of April, which was a lot of fun - see the pictures below!  The same weekend, the clarinet and guitar duo performed at a lovely country wedding near Beaudesert.  Catherine has also had a couple of lovely weddings as a soloist, and the voice and piano duo have continued to perform at Berkley's on Ann. Meanwhile, the cover artwork has been finished for the two CDs, so they should be produced and ready for sale in a couple of weeks.  Dave Dwyer is finishing off final edits to the video recording that was done at Berkley's in late April.  Clips will be up on the website and YouTube in the next week.

3 to Tango clarinet and guitar duo performed at a beautiful wedding on the river at Teneriffe on Thursday afternoon, and Catherine played solo guitar at a lovely church ceremony this afternoon. Later this week, 3 to Tango is performing at Berkley's on Ann (Rendezvous Hotel), and Dave Dwyer will be there to record a video between 6-7pm.  The voice & piano duo will perform from 5:30-8:30pm, and will feature the full Trio from 6-7pm.  Come and enjoy the music with some wine and tapas!

3 to Tango trio spent yesterday in the studio recording a CD.  There are 9 tracks in total, including Moondance, Summertime, Carole King's So Far Away, World of Make Believe (a 70s hit from the band Stylus), and Kelly's original song Little Black Cloud Blues.  The CD should be ready in the next month, so keep an eye on our news page for details, or register your interest.

3 to Tango trio performed at a beautiful wedding today at Hillstone St Lucia.  The bride walked down the aisle to "For You" by Eric Bibb.  The groom's mother sent us a lovely comment:
"The music at Jack and Karoline's wedding was just a splendid part of it all, thank you so very much for being beautiful.  Hearing you sing that song as Kaz entered will be one of the highlights for me forever. " Mandy
